Meylan Construction was formed as a result of the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. We started with residential and commercial construction in the 415 area code only (San Francisco and Marin County), but now we focus and specialize solely in commercial tenant improvement projects and commercial specialty construction.

Commercial Construction
We specialize in commercial construction. We focus on long term relationships with commercial clients, and supply a resource they can depend on. Our projects range from small commercial tenant improvements and ADA upgrades to executive suites and ground up building construction.
Tenant Improvements
Our crew has completed thousands of office remodels, ranging from carpet and paint jobs to complete office renovations. Some of our renovation projects include upgrades of existing occupied offices, expansion of existing occupied offices, and build-outs of empty shell buildings or multi-floor construction.
Structure Upgrades
Many of the buildings we work on require seismic upgrades, including steel, wood framed, and concrete buildings. Other upgrade examples include slab alterations, skylight installations, roof hatches, fire sprinkler systems, and plumbing/electrical/mechanical upgrades. We can also perform ADA path of travel improvements.
Ground Up
We can perform General Contracting for your new ground up building. What our customers value most about us is our "expectation management." We strive to ensure that communication is maintained and that our customer's vision is delivered.
