Structural Work

Our company was founded during the aftermath of the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. The majority of our work was earthquake repair in the Marin District of San Francisco. Some of our projects included adding, replacing, or underpinning foundations, lifting and leveling of buildings, adding steel moment frames, providing sheer walls, hold downs and mechanical connections, connecting roof diaphragms to concrete wall panels of tilt up buildings, para pit bracing and retrofit of UMB (UnReinforced Masonry Buildings), increasing load capacities and supplementing existing buildings, cutting openings in tilt up buildings, and supplementing the structural requirements and values. Our wide array or projects has given us experience working with innumerable materials, from concrete to steel structural upgrades.
