Structural Wood and Metal Stud Framing

We have seen a significant evolution in framing methods, from use of nominal size posts and beams to incorporation of new engineered wood products such as glue lams, oriented strand products, and laminated beams and panels. Whereas before we used to use timbers and beams, engineered products, such as trust loists and structural laminated panels, are now becoming more common and popular. These new products employ various mechanical fastenings and utilize the latest construction techniques. Because metal studs are a man made manufactured product, they offer consistent quality and performance and save money, both in labor and materials. Metal stud framing has been used in commercial construction for decades and is generally required for non combustible construction. We have experience from light gauge partition framing to heavy gauge structural fabrication.
