Project Management

Successful project management is the best way to ensure an end result that meets, if not exceeds, the customer's expectations. Examples of project management include conceptual development, sequencing of construction, understanding all of the components, and orchestrating all of the design professionals, cost estimators, detailers, public agencies and all of the key contributors. In addition to this, scheduling, sequencing and phasing are reviewed, analyzed, and updated, and notifications and record keeping are identified, developed and maintained. The construction team is responsible for coordination interfacing of various sub-contractors, trades and equipment suppliers, product submittals, and review, management, and recording of shop drawings or details  in order to eliminate surprises and ensure delivery dates.

Meylan Construction will schedule and prepare for special inspections and building inspections, and these significant events will be informative and necesarry in the overall plan of action. Because the development and maintaining of positive relationships with local building inspectors, as well as the ability to coordinate special and independent inspections, is so vital to the construction process, our project managers have invested years of experience working with various inspectors and have developed leverage to further the project. Our experience with and our symbiotic relationship of trust with building inspectors has been so positive that they go out of their way to collaborate with us.

Project management has three main components:
-Pre-Construction
-Construction
-Project Completion

In order to fulfill these three components, all local agencies need to sign off on the project, the construction team must complete all punch list items, and the construction team must provide all warranties and product use manuals, along with project close-out items such as collection of conditional and unconditional lease releases. These crucial steps insure that our customers' experience was favorable, and that we met their expectations, something that Meylan Construction holds in the highest regard.
